Identity by Austra came on somehow. Guess I played a greatest hits playlist or something. I don't know. I kind of stopped listening to them after the singer looked at me like I was repulsive when I was in the front row at a show. I'm pretty sure the political divide is so stark and horrific that my previously mild views would earn me a place in an internment camp in their fantasy world, so I can't escape into their world anymore. It isn't for me. But it still made me cry like crazy in a way I didn't expect as I listened to it scrolling through this year's writing. A whole decade's worth of a lot of things.
