I've been learning this piece on piano even though I think my teacher thinks it's too hard for me. It's called The Clown. It's by Vladimir Rebikov.
I've never actually heard the piece, and I don't intend to until I learn it. It's so pretty, though. Even though I play it very slowly, it feels very good to play. It's just very pretty.
I've been taking a songwriting course heavily focused on theory, and I already feel more enlightened. I appreciate the layout of sheet music more after spending time drawing out the symbols and becoming aware of their nuances. It's so pretty.
I really enjoy writing notes, too. Musical notes. I like looking at them. I like how there is meaning appended to them. It's all amazing.
