Two blues musician brothers lived on a small backwards L-shaped dock on a long narrow river. They stopped aging at 45, in 1936.
Recently, all of the dock's wood panels fell into the water below. The brothers knew that their end was inevitable. Even though they would have no use for the dock, they told their neighbors that they would rebuild it so that it could still be used, and if the dock was not rebuilt in time, the brothers would make sure that someone rebuilt it after their deaths.
